Data controller – update version 1.0.2.1

The main change is the option to close all open data connection from the application screen without need to do it from the Connection manager Manager.
Also there are some GUI and performance improvements

Got you application bundled in an Energy ROM in XDA-developers. Two comments:
1) Bundled version is just 1.0, and I see that now 1.0.1.6 is available. Not sure if they’re different, though..
1) The application’s info page contains a link to “www.regfrogfishl.com”.. had to search in google to find that this is the correct address..

Is WM 6.5 supported? Freewarepocketpc.net states support for “Windows Mobile Pocket PC 5 , 6 , 6.1″ only.

It’s VM 6.5 supported, as I remember there was no option of 6.5 in Freewarepocketpc when I submitted there, But I’ll check again.

I downloaded this update (had previously installed vs.1.0.1.6). One question though: Will I be able to use a WiFi connection when I have activated the “no data connection”? I hope so, that would be a huge money saver when I go abroad on holiday. I am planning on using only WiFi to use Skype and get my email and so on.

I checked again and the cab file was downloaded OK
Installed this on my Samsung Omnia II GT-I8000 running 6.5. When run I get an error message saying simply “Error” with the same when the details button is pushed. Re-downloaded and re-installed – same error.
I am back on win mob after a break of 4 years or so, so maybe I’m missing something basic?
Any ideas please?

sorry – came to this page directly, and have just seen on the main data controller product page:
The application requires .Net 3.5 that you can download from Microsoft. or if you want only the cab file, search the net for the NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab file.
all ok now and it looks good!
